Why Choir?

Meet the Choirs

Freshman Mixed
Open to all 9th graders, no prior experience required. Students learn vocal basics, build musicianship, and perform music suited for developing voices in concerts throughout the year.

Sophomore Mixed
For all 10th graders, this choir develops tone, literacy, and performance skills. Singers perform a variety of styles and often combine with Freshman Choir for larger ensemble experiences.

West Mixed
Open to juniors and seniors, West Mixed strengthens confidence and vocal skills through diverse repertoire. Students perform frequently at school, in the community, and major concerts.

Advanced Treble
Auditioned juniors and seniors focus on advanced treble literature across genres and eras. Emphasis is placed on tone, independence, and expressive performance at school and community events.

Vocal Jazz Ensembles
Lake Park’s top auditioned ensemble for juniors and seniors. Members explore jazz repertoire, sharpen musicianship, and perform regularly in school and community, often with added opportunities.

Take Your Voice Further
Level up your singing with one-on-one lessons focused on technique, musicianship, and confidence. Sessions with Miss Manda Gervase are open to all choir students.
